Mission  Statement

High unemployment and involuntary emigration is weakening the solidarity and social cohesion of clubs and communities across the regions. To address this issue Dunhill Rural Enterprises Ltd (DREL) and Carbery Enterprise Group, Skibbereen founded ‘Communities Creating Jobs (CCJ) on 17th November 2011.

CCJ’s objective is to target the creation of 10 jobs in every community countrywide (32 county) by 2020.  CCJ has developed an assets and opportunities audit questionnaire to identify new enterprises and jobs in local communities.  A voluntary trained facilitator will work with communities to complete the audit. The audit process should not exceed 4 meetings over a 3 months period.

CCJ will work with communities FREE OF CHARGE to identify, mobilise and co-ordinate local assets & start-up enterprises in targeting 10 JOBS IN EVERY COMMUNITY willing to participate in its national job creation programme.
